To the 300-anniversary the monument to the great Russian scholar Mikhail Lomonosov, restored with financial support of the regional people’s politic movement “The Will of St. Petersburg”, was returned to the square bearing the scholar’s name.

Not for the first year “The Will of St. Petersburg” has been cooperating with the state museum of city sculpture, which collection the monument to M. V. Lomonosov comprises. In the past year, the above mentioned movement led by the speaker of the Federation Council, Sergey Mironov, financed restoration of two sculptures of lions belonging to the Admiralty embankment.
