In the event of St. Petersburg’s 300th jubilee celebration the American TV producers is mostly interested in the matter of participation of Western show-business stars.

The chairman of the Committee-300 of City’s administration Natalia Batozhok had a meeting on October 29, 2002 with the representatives of America’s leading TV channels. Yet early the Western mass-media show considerable interest for the forthcoming events of St. Petersburg’s 300th anniversary celebration.

According to the Committee-300, in the course of preliminary negotiations discussed were possibilities of set up of a special TV project which would with maximum detail speak on the most interesting events of the jubilee decade. Special interest among the Western producers arise participation in the official celebration of Western stars of show-business -- because in the project oriented on average American spectator it is these stars that will become main news-makers for the holiday.
