According to the Staff of Leningrad military district, realization of the project of installation in the city of memorial plaques and architectural symbols is on.

The project’s general idea consists of immortalization of places of location of the Guards’ regiments of Russian Empire, together with St. Petersburg’s builders and architects and outstanding architectural objects of the Northern capital.

According to the results of the contest held by the Leningrad military district command, among the organizations capable of realization of the project the winner is “Darsy” association. Besides, according Colonel Sergey Kovalyev, Departmental head of the Institute of Military History, due to November 15 a manuscript of the book “300 Years of military history of St. Petersburg” will be accomplished for publication.
