The date of the action start is May 20, 2003. On this day, in the Paris House of Invalids where Napoleon’s tomb is located, the exposition of Russian and French art under the name of “St. Petersburg – Paris. 1800s – 1830s years” will open. In the exposition will be included works from the collections of State Hermitage, the Kremlin museums and State Historical Museum.
It has been planned that the visitors of St. Petersburg’s Hermitage will also have a chance to get acquainted with the exposition, where it will relocate from Paris in September 2003 and will be on till November.
