Michael of Kent and Petersburg’s homeless animals The problem of St. Petersburg’s homeless animals will be solved by Prince Michael of Kent special to 300-anniversary

On this the Governor of St. Petersburg Vladimir Yakovlev announced at a press-conference. The latter noted that during his visit to London he held negotiations with British famous charity figure, Prince Michael of Kent. The prince told him about his plans for St. Petersburg’s 300th anniversary. In particular, he is going to open a special hotel for vagrant dogs.

Besides, due to the Northern capital’s jubilee celebration Michael of Kent plans to shoot a five-series documentary film about the tsars and buildings of Russia provided with comments both in Russian and English languages. According to Vladimir Yakovlev, the British prince is also ready to provide to St. Petersburg new technologies for development of the small business.

The St. Petersburg Governor added that Michael of Kent is going to hold traditional motor rally on the route Vladivostok – St. Petersburg, on “Bentley” blend cars. During the course of this action there are plans to raise sponsor funds and to pass them to one of the city’s orphanages.
