In St. Petersburg on Tuesday the director of the State Russian Museum Vladimir Gusev will represent “The Russian Museum – For St. Petersburg’s 300th anniversary” program.
The program consists of the projects developed by the workers of the State Russian Museum for the Northern capital jubilee.
The projects comprise restoration of all the museum’s buildings: the Engineer’s Castle, the Stroganovsky and Marble Palaces. Due to the city’s jubilee the restoration works will be accomplished and these places will be ready for visits.
Besides, in the program there is enumeration of the exhibitions that will be held during the jubilee year as well as the exhibitions held in other cities where the Russian museum collections of Russian art will be represented.
