From March 14 till April 14, 2003 there is “The Golden Mask” theatre festival in St. Petersburg. According to the city’s administration Committee on Culture, on December 10 the event organizers will meet with mass-media representatives at the international press-center “300 Years to St. Petersburg”.

The nominees for “The Golden Mask” premium, the festival jury staff, the Laureates of “For support of theatric art”, “For the best foreign performance shown in Russia in 2002” special premiums will be presented at the press-conference.

In the event will most probably take part the president of “The Golden Mask” association G. Taratorkin, St. Petersburg’s vice-governor V. Shitarev, chairman of the Committee on Culture O. Ivanova and chairman of the Committee on preparation and holding of St. Petersburg 300-anniversary celebration N. Batozhok.
