Preparation of the VIP routs and their provision with transportation during the 300th anniversary celebrations was discussed during the Transportation Coordination Headquarters meeting held in Smolny. Organization of water transportation for guests and city-natives was also covered.To accommodate small-size vessels “Passenger Port” in alliance with “Mostotrest” suggested that landing-stages should be deployed in the vicinity of the Hermitage and the Bronze Horseman.

“October Railways” state company was entrusted renewal works on the railway platforms situated on stretch from St. Petersburg – Baltisky – Oranienbaum, terminals in Novy Peterhof, Strelna and Volodarskaya. It is also necessary to take appropriate measures to ensure improvement of territories adjacent to railways.
