A delegation of the Kaliningrad Region headed by Governor Vladimir Yegorov has arrived in St. Petersburg to take part in the celebration of the city’s 300th anniversary.
Visiting the Catherine Palace, representatives of Russia’s westernmost province presented to the custodians of the Amber Room an emblem of St. Petersburg made from “sun stone” in which their region is so rich, used for the restoration of the 18th century masterpiece. The emblem was commissioned by the Regional Administration and made by the Kaliningrad company Suveniry Baltiki.
