Coca-Cola with the Hermitage views to be sold in St. Petersburg Coca-Cola cans will bear the most famous views of the Hermitage, the museum’s Director Mikhail Piotrovsky announced at a press conference in the Hermitage Theater. The action is part of the joint project of Coca-Cola and the Hermitage “Preserving Cultural Heritage Together”.

“We have prepared this gift for the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg and the 10th anniversary of our cooperation with Coca-Cola,” said Mikhail Piotrovsky. According to him, the pictures, showing the Arch of Triumph, Portico with the statues of Atlas, Palace Square and Winter Canal, have been executed by St. Petersburg artists and approved by the Hermitage designers. Part of proceeds from the Coca-Cola cans with the Hermitage views will be used for the restoration of the central entrance to the Hermitage, another part, for the publication of a guide of St. Petersburg. Demetros Makavos, Regional General Manager Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia, presented to Mikhail Piotrovsky a symbolic check for $150 thousand.

According to Anna Kozlovskaya, PR and Communications Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia and Coca-Cola Export Corporation, 5 million collection cans will be produced in total, and sold in Russia from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. “We expect that they will be available till the middle of July; the unique design will not affect their price,” assured Anna Kozlovskaya.
