A consort consisting of the Russian Energomashexport and the Turkish Baytur and Ozdemir companies won a tender to build the TORUL hydroelectric plant in Turkey. Leningrad Metal Factory (LMF) and Electrosila plant will supply the hydroenergetic equipment. LMF Engineering company will act as the project's technical coordinator. The equipment will be made and supplied in 2003 and 2004. Its total cost is over $15 million. At the present time specialists are conducting preliminary works to coordinate technical terms with the client.
