"Almaz" Shipbuilding Company plans to make a border control ship for Russia's border services. Deputy General Director Aleksei Ponomarev reported so to RBC representatives. According to him, the company also has an order to build a small paratroopers' amphibia "Zubr" class ship for the Greek Navy in 2001. Aside from this, "Almaz" is manufacturing containers 350 cubic metres in capacity for a nuclear power plant in China, in cooperation with North Korea. The enterprise has no other orders at the present time and utilizes only 20% of all its resources. Source: RBC.
