According to ComNews.ru, "Ruscom" telecommunications company plans to complete the first stage of its network's modernization by the end of the summer. The network will use the technology of dense wave multiplexing (DWDM) and STM-64 transmission system for the first time in Russia. After the modernization is completed, the company will be able to transmit information with the speed of 320Gbit/s using its existing cables.
