Grand-Hotel Europe on Nevsky Prospect have designed six elite mini-hotels (dachas) on Kamenny island. According to Alexander Shabasov, deputy head of the City Construction Committee, the plan will be approved within the next 10 days. Total cost of the project is $6 million. The buildings are designed in original tsarist-era cottages style – which were located in Sanatornaya street and Zapadnaya alley. The construction can take 18 months.

Federal government has already built an official presidential residence and plans to construct a residence for visiting foreign dignitaries on Kamenny island.
