This was reported yesterday, August 15, at a press conference by Mikhail Zlydnikov, JSC “World Fair “Russian Farmer” director general. He underlined the fact that it would be the 10th – jubilee – fair that “will extend all the best things that have become traditional for these actions”.

The fair programme includes agroindustrial and food exhibitions, peasant market stalls, practical scientific conferences, open grain auctions. Within practical scientific programme it is planned to hold a conference “ On the role of the state in cooperation, integration and formation of multimodal economy in Russia's agroindustrial complex”. Alexey Gordeev, Secretary of agriculture f Russian Federation is going to take part in the conference.

More than 1200 participants from different Russian regions and East European countries are expected to come.

The first fair was held in St. Petersburg in 1992.
