Greek "CHIPITA International" company which holds 100 % of the "Krasnoselskaya" confectionery shares, invested about 5 mln dollars into further production development and introducing new technologies at the Russian enterprise. The assets will be spent on the sponge cakes production line acquisition and on the croissants production line set up. Capacity of the latter is 70 mln items a year. The city's administration allotted about 50.000 sq. m. of the bordering space for building new workshops and up-to-date equipment allocation.

As the company's authorities told "Regions. Ru" correspondent, new lines introduction will allow to increase the production amount up to 50 mln items a year by the end of 2001 against 15 mln in 2000.
