Finnish company “Copterline” is planning to establish a helicopter connection between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. This decision is a result of an exceptional commercial success of the helicopter connection between Helsinki and Tallin which started its operation May 2000.

During the first year of its work the company exceeded 30 thousand year plan of passengers transportation by almost 20%. The second year of its work started even more successfully: by the end of August 2001 50 thousandth passenger crossed Gulf of Finland. According to the company’s authorities, there’s a need in new flights, and Helsinki-Petersburg route is mostly interesting for “Copterline”.
