The RF Government and the World Bank have announced a competition for reconstruction St. Petersburg cultural institutions. The most large-scale projects to be financed by loan money relate to the Mariinsky Theatre, Hermitage and Russian Museum.

The project will be financed by a new World Bank loan and from the federal budget.
