St. Petersburg Promstroybank (the Industrial and Building bank) is recognized to be the best Russian commercial bank of the year as it is the most efficiently developing bank.

There were tree candidates for this nomination: Alfa-Bank, Vneshtorgbank and Promstroybank. The results were presented by the weekly observer the Company.

Today the Promstroybank's stockholders are represented by more than 300 business and 22 thou. individuals. The bank serves more than 63 thou. corporate and 390 individual accounts. It has 47 branches in many Russian cities: 16 – in St. Petersburg, 13 – in Leningradskaya Oblast, 18 – in other Russia's regions. Branches in Ulyanovsk and Samara are expected to be opened soon.
