The North-West bank of Sberbank, Alfa-Bank and Constants-Bank proved to be the most active ones. They were much better prepared to perform operations with Euro, already on January 3. Other banks started working with Euro later, on January 4. By now main consumers of the currency are citizens travelling abroad. Large firms do not hurry to make their business Euro-based.
