Tomorrow Almaz Shipbuilding Company lays down an oil-spill boat of a principally new design intended for quick liquidation of emergency oil spill on water area of the Neva River and the Gulf of Finland.

Almaz Shipbuilding Company has won the competition for design of a fast oil-spill boat. Its project includes, for instance, a spraying gun for applying sorption materials on water area. Also important is the speed of the future vessel – it is 3 times more than of the present oil skimmers.

The contract is worth 39m roubles.
