CS-50 multifunctional semi-submersible drilling platforms was laid in January 2001 at Vyborg Shipyard. It was designed according to the latest scientific achievements and is able to operate in different climatic zones from southern to northern latitudes, and, depending on construction filling, to explore deposits or to extract hydrocarbon from shelf depth from 80 to 2500 m. The platform design enables to place substantial constructions or cargo up to 20000 tons on the main deck.
