laying of a new oil-spill vessel Construction of the vessel was ordered by Transneft. The ship has displacement of 800 tons and is intended for transportation of sewage, sludge and wastes to places of processing. Tenders for construction of the vessel were invited in March 2002. 17 shipyards participated in the competition.

The oil-spill vessel was designed by Vostok Design Bureau (St. Petersburg) and is worth $2m. Delivery period– 12 months
