According to the university's PR Department, educators and cultural workers from over 60 cities and towns of Russia and foreign countries will attend. Besides, present at the conference will be representatives from foreign consulates, religious denominations, and ethnic associations, communities and societies.
According to Prof. Sergei Goncharov, a Deputy Rector of the university, the Chairman of the organising committee of the conference, the objective of the event is exchanging modern information in the field of ethnic conflict studies and discussing the objectives and methods of education in the conditions of growing inter-ethnic tensions and ethnic and national disagreements.
The conference will last through April 20
