The platform can be used both for drilling and exploration. The multifunctional catamaran platform with two pontoons and six stabilizing legs supporting the upper hull and 15,000 tons deck, built at the Vyborg Shipyard, is the fifth generation of semi-submersible platforms designed by Moss Maritime AS (Norway). The platform was designed according to the latest scientific achievements and is able to operate in different climatic zones from southern to northern latitudes, and, depending on construction filling, to explore deposits or to extract hydrocarbon from shelf depth from 80 to 2500 m. The platform design enables to place substantial constructions or cargo up to 20000 tons on the main deck.
