In future “National Pay phone Network” (NTS) accounts for approval of installations of their telephone sets on all auto route passages of Russia.
NTS has already equipped the town of Ivangorod, which is one the passages within the Leningrad district, 5 passages of the Pskov district, 2 – for the Karelia Republic. The company installs pay phone sets of GNT 807 type which take unified NTS cards valid for 14 regions of the Russian Federation.
The company plans to accomplish installaton on all 18 customs’ passages in the North-West federal district by the end of summer 2002.
Previously, NTS was dealing in installation of the pay phone sets in reformatory colonies. The project is realized together with the Ministry of Justice. Before this summer, three pay phone sets have been already installed in the Komi and Leningrad district colonies. Denis Pustovoit, NTS commercial manager stated that by the end of 2002 installation in the St. Petersburg same type institutions is in company plans.
