In Saint Petersburg there is the lowest rate of unemployment in Northwest - 0,8%. On the second place - the Novgorod area (1,2%), on the third - Leningrad (1,6%). As department of federal public service of employment in Leningrad region informs, in July in region 692 persons were registered, it is on 0,5% more, than in June. For one month 6812 persons were struck off the register. In total with service of employment’s assistance in July 5 227 person were employed. 6218 vacancies had wages in limits from a living wage up to the average salary on area. Everyone 7th vacancy had wages above the area level . In total in "bank" were counted 2420 such vacancies.
