In the framework of official visit to Russia Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Austrian republic Benita Ferrero-Waldner has arrived to Northern capital.

After the meeting in the Smolny with the governor of Saint Petersburg Vladimir Jakovlev sides have discussed future trends of expansion of cooperation between Austria and Saint Petersburg, Mrs. B.Ferrero-Waldner has visited the State Hermitage and has spoken on theme “Austria, EU and Russia" in the St.-Petersburg State University. In the evening the Minister has left to Moscow.
