At the session of the St. Petersburg government the question about material support and repair of buildings of children's homes and boarding schools was considered

At present in St. Petersburg 46 establishments for children-orphans and children who have lost the care of parents work. 15 thousand pupils live there. Governor Vladimir Jakovlev consieders the maintenance of establishments in which they live - a question of the city and country prestige.

At the session of the government the decision to make the passport of each children's establishment is taken. In this passport the technical standing of buildings and need for financially and technical maintenance will be reflected. It is consiedered to be necessary: to create in each children's home boards of guardians which will be headed with known people in city, including members of the city government.
