German company Metro Cash & Carry has set April 28 as the opening date for its first trading centre in St. Petersburg, city Governor Vladimir Yakovlev's press service has announced. Metro plans to open another in the city this May. The governor's press service reported that the timing would be agreed upon at a meeting between Yakovlev and company representatives. The construction cost for the two stores is EUR 48 million.
