On 16-19 July in Saint-Petersburg there will be the VIII Northwest Bank conference, in which managers of commercial banks of Russia, of CIS and Baltic countries, but also managers of foreign banks will take part.
The organisers of this arrangement are the public administration of the Centre bank of Russia in Saint-Petersburg, The Association of Russian banks, JS Bank “Promstroysviaz” and the Union of industrialists and businessmen of Saint-Petersburg.
During two working days managers of the Centre Russian Bank and of the Association of Russian banks, but also the representatives of the Russian government and representatives of foreign investment, auditors, consulting, rating companies and commercial banks will deliver a speech. In 2002 there were more than 500 representatives from 30 foreign countries and from 20 Russian regions took part in this conference.
The main subjects of the conference are “Refinancing the economy of the country in the contemporary conditions”, “The role of the banks in the economical life of regions; participation of the international institutes and corporations in development of Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad’s region”, “Urgent problems of the collaboration between the banks”.
