Karelsk Pellets, which is a subsidiary of the Severstal-group, has signed a contract to supply iron pellets to the Finnish metallurgical company Rautaruukki. Andrei Zamula, the company's press secretary, said that there are plans to deliver about 1 million tonnes of iron pellets to Finland over the next year, which constitutes about one third of the company's total export volume. It is the largest export contract that Karelsk Pellets has signed to date.
Rautaruukki has been collaborating with Karelsk Pellets over the last twelve years.
