The meeting is arranged by St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and supported by Latin-American Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Economy Ministry, Latin-American Institute, Academy of Science, National Committee of Economy Cooperation Assistance with Latin-American Countries and the Embassy of Mexico in Russia.

Participants of the round-table will discuss problems of trade-economic cooperation of Russian and Mexico, will consider the development of contacts in fields of power machine building complex, shipbuilding, chemical industry, high technologies, innovation and investment cooperation. We should mention that Mexico is one of partners to whom Russian has already established stable relations in Latin-American region. During the meeting of “Group of the eight” countries the Russian president Vladimir Putin emphasised that: “international authority of Mexico is constantly increasing and it has its own face in international affairs. The dialog with Mexico is very important to Russia both in political and economy spheres.
