The first stage of the Fishing Village ethnographic centre of craft and trade, which will cost about USD 66 million in total, should be complete in 2005 in time for the 750th anniversary of Kaliningrad. It includes a whole complex of old-fashioned buildings including shops, hotels, restaurants and cafes, craft workshops, an art gallery and a pier.
The Kaliningrad Region will present 25 projects in total at the exhibition, with a total value of about USD 250 million, in the hope that they will attract investors.
Over 800 representatives of almost 60 different countries are expected to take part at the exhibition.
