In the coming year European producers of building and finishing materials will join the St. Petersburg retail market. Just for this reason, the new players intend to create a hypermarket chain to directly sell their construction materials.
To realize the project a specially registered company “Start Ltd.” has obtained a land plot for feasibility studies of the first hypermarket in the Frunzensky District. The future hypermarket with the area of 53 thousand square meters is to occupy the 41st block southward of the Volkovka River, along Oleko Dundich Street. Investments in the hypermarket construction will make $10-12 million.
