Saint Petersburg-based Admiralty Wharves which constructs and modernizes commercial and military ships of various types, took part in the international exhibition Boat Show 2004 in Helsinki last week. The plant's press service said that they showcased the small-sized ships Master 540, Master 510, Master 410 and Master 900 which cost from USD 4 to 10 thousand.

Analysts say that demand is growing for the smaller-sized boats in Europe and Russia. Typical buyers include fishermen, Emergency Situations Ministry, Coast Guard and others.
