The closed joint-stock company ‘Rus-Avto’ opened the first official automobile showroom of ‘SEAT’ cars in St. Petersburg.

The showroom came into service in a rented building located on 54-A Marshal Blykher Prospect. The area of the two-storied salon is 360 square meters, and the open-air storage ground is 550 square meters.

By April 2004 ‘SEAT’ has opened five showrooms in four Russian towns, moreover, the Spanish car producer is striving to raise its sales in Russia fourfold within a year. By late 2004 ‘SEAT’ is planning to create another 10 auto salons in Russian towns, and by 2008 the annual sales of ‘SEAT’ in Russia are expected to reach 6 thousand cars.
