New Zealand is considering the possibility to create an enterprise to make dairy equipment in the Leningrad Region. The matter was discussed by the regional Governor Valery Serdykov and the Foreign Trade Minister of New Zealand Jim Sutton. Today the Leningrad Region is marketing about 600-700 thousand tons of milk. This supply can be doubled provided the 10 dairy factories located in the region are modernized. Experts say the dairy machinery made in New Zealand is much cheaper than that made in the Western Europe and used nowadays.
