The American and German company ‘Nash_elmo Industries GmbH’ will be launching a production of vacuum and compressor equipment in the Leningrad Region.
The project investments will amount to at least 15 million Euros. Today the management of ‘Nash_elmo Industries GmbH’ will discuss the production placement terms with the representatives of the regional administration. Currently, the German company is considering the possibilities to fulfill the project, and is also looking for a Russian partner and searching for land to start the construction.
Vladimir Grigoryk, the Sales Manager of ‘Nash_elmo Industries GmbH’ in Russia and the CIS said that the company would start the construction in 2004. The company’s management has not yet revealed the output capacity of the future enterprise, due to the necessity to study the marketing potential. The productivity of the enterprise will, perhaps, compete with the workshop recently built by ‘Nash_elmo Industries GmbH’ in Germany. The project is estimated at 15-20 million Euros.
In the words of Vladimir Grigoryk, ‘Nash_elmo’ holds more than 50% of the Russian vacuum and compressor equipment market today. Since the new production is launched in the North-West of Russia, the percentage will certainly grow. Together with this, the Sales Manager believes that domestic producers are the most zealous competitors against the German company.
The future workshop is considered to satisfy not only the national market in Russia and the CIS, but also to export its production to Poland and other neighboring countries. The company has significantly expanded its sales to the CIS region lately. These days the supply volume of ‘Nash_elmo’ in Russia and the CIS is exceeding 2 million Euros.
