Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Petro-Canada President and CEO Ron Brenneman have discussed the companies' long-term gas and oil cooperation in Moscow Thursday.The parties talked over the planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.
As was reported earlier, in October 2004 Gazprom and Petro-Canada signed a memorandum of understanding on supplies of LNG from Russia to North America starting in 2009. The document also proposes the construction of a liquefied gas production plant near St. Petersburg, with the capacity to process 7bn cubic meters of gas into LNG annually.
