Finnair is to introduce afternoon departures to St Petersburg on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays in its new timetable in May, bringing the weekly total of departures from the Helsinki-Vantaa hub to the Russian city to ten, the Finnish flag carrier said in a statement Thursday.
"The improved service is in response to customer demand, enabling business customers to make one day business trips to the city from Finland. The new flights also make it possible for Finnair to offer fast connections between Scandinavian destinations and from other European destination to St Petersburg," the statement added.
