10 February 2006 governor of Saint-Petersburg met in Smolny with leaders of oil company “TNK-BP”. Among them was chief executive G. Han, they discussed the question of enlargement of “TNK-BP” in Saint-Petersburg.

In year 2004 there was signed an agreement of collaboration between Saint-Petersburg and “TNK-BP”. The company paid in 25 million dollars in Saint-Petersburg development fund.

In December this year the company won in open auction 15 plots for refueling stations on the territory of Saint-Petersburg. The company is going to do 150 million dollar investments to create here rental net. For Saint Petersburgers that will create 1000 extra work places. After the project will be done 400 million rubles as tax will transferred to cites budget.
