The global economic crisis is not over, more recurrences are possible, Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said on Saturday.
“I would like to repeat once again: the crisis is not over,” Kudrin told students of the St. Petersburg State University’s economics department. “The majority of world nations, including the United States and Russia, have come out of the recession, although its fundamental causes have preserved.”
According to Kudrin, such situation is fraught with throwbacks in separate countries. The crisis, Kudrin said, was provoked by globalisation, which made world nations dependent on each other. “Now we are living though a new stage of the system development, with changing management methods,” he added.
