Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has announced carriage agreements for Sony Entertainment Television (SET) with Russia’s National Cable Networks (NCN) and TV Company St Petersburg Cable Television (SPCT).
They will significantly boost SET’s coverage in Moscow and St Petersburg and take the total in Russia and CIS to over 5 million pay-TV subscriber homes.
Other agreements are already in place with – amongst others – Akado, UfaNet, NTV-Plus, ER Telecom, Volia (Ukraine), Alma TV (Kazakhstan) and Cosmos TV (Belarus).
SET was the second SPT brand to launch in the region, following AXN Sci-Fi’s debut in December 2007.
