Mobile operator Tele2 Russia deployed over 80 new base stations in St Peterburg city and region in H1. The capacity of the network was raised in St Peterburg, Tikhvin and other locations. The network of Tele2 Russia currently covers 98 percent of the city's and region's population. The operator has also launched its mobile services in Centralnye-Koryaki, Yuzhnye-Koryaki, Milkovo, Ust-Bolsheretsk and Oktyabrskiy agglomerations in the Kamchatka region. The network currently covers 86 percent of the region's population there. Tele2 Russia started providing its mobile services in the Kamchatka region in October 2012
