The auction is an international specialized exhibit of beer, non-alcoholic beverages and accessories, such as cans, bottles, packaging, beer ingredients and brewing equipment. The exhibit is a joint project of Lenekspo and of the German Nurenberg Global Fairs Messe. 160 firms from 14 European countries are participating. A beer-tasting contest, with 40 firms presenting over 100 brands of beer, mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages, is a part of the program. Round tables and seminars will also be organized. Brewers are planning to discuss such topics as "Beer as an Alternative to Hard Liquor", "Beverages and Health" and "Introduction of Internet Technologies in Brewing".
