The highway is being equipped with a radio communication system.The system is designed to locate road accidents and emergency situations. The radio system's last base station is currently being created in Vyborg. This project, called "Auto", is being carried out by St. Petersburg's Mobile Radio Systems communications company by order of Russia's Transportation Ministry.
