Russian Shipbuilding Agency and Administration of St. Petersburg are planning to sign a cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony will take place April 6. The document defines chief directions of work in preparation for the International Naval Salon, which will take place in St. Petersburg in 2003. It will be devoted to the city's 300th anniversary. According to preliminary estimates, the Salon will gather around 140 Russian producers of military technology and over 50 representatives of foreign companies. An international exhibit will be conducted at the salon, demonstrating samples of military technology. Practical science conferences and seminars will also take place. The meeting of the work group in charge of organizing the Naval Salon will be held today after the agreement is signed. Source: RBC.
