Greenpeace organization will conduct a project "For Pure Baltic Sea". The legendary "MV Greenpeace" ship will visit the Baltic coast's major cities, such as Kaliningrad, Stockholm, St. Petersburg and Tallinn. The organization's Baltic expedition will end in late May, 2001 in Stockholm. An international conference on chemically stable organic pollutants will be held here. On April 19 the ship will arrive in St. Petersburg. On April 20 at 8:00 p.m. a press conference with the participation of independent experts studying the effect of chemical pollutants on man's health will be conducted on board of the ship.
