At 10:00 a.m. on April 18 a round table meeting will be held in Stockholm's Representation in St. Petersburg. Its topic will be "Using Stockholm's Experience in Preparation to City Anniversary". A work group on preparation of "North-Western Anniversaries" tourist program will also meet on the same day. The Russian Association of Tourist Agencies, St. Petersburg Information Centre and the Committee on Anniversary Preparation are organizing a cycle of round tables titled "Marketing the City through Large-scale Events". The program will involve the topics of preparation for 750th anniversry of Stockholm in 2002, for 300th anniversaries of St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk, 1100th anniversary of Pskov and 1250th anniversary of Old Ladoga in 2003. The first round table meeting in the cycle will be held in Stockholm Representation on April, 18.
